this is it. my 1 1/2 years has come to an end. and it has come so fast! i am overwhelmed with the love and support and the things that i have been able to experience here in the great land of Romania! this mission has changed me to become a different person and i have learned so many things that i couldn't have done just at home going to school or working. i feel so blessed to have been chosen as a worthy servant of my heavenly father to serve in Romania and to learn this language, and to speak to Gods children here, and to learn to love them for who they are. Romanians are wonderful people, especially the members here. the most humble people, and majority of them are converts to the church, theres not a lot of second generation members yet. but i have faith that one day there will be stakes and a temple here, and i was apart of building the kindgom of God here! I would not replace these days that i spent here for anything in the world. its like the famous missionary quote that says "you serve for 18 months to serve a mission and then the rest of your life to reflect on your mission." im heading into the reflecting part, as my mission ends this week. i am for ever grateful for my mission! hooray for Israel! this week we made a lot of memories! including going to visit my fav member! monika! she was the lady that was baptized last oct. and i was in another city and president let me go to brasov to see her get baptized, her husband made so much food for us and wow it was good but man! i forgot that romanian members just feed you and feed you! and romanians eat so fast! wow there was a lot of "lasts" this week -last slujba (church) -last visits with some of our friends and members -last time singing romanians hymns -last time eating some foods -last time grocery shopping like a European -last time sending out this group email -last time getting transfer boards (the thing that tells us where missionaries are going) -last time/first time group contacting with my district -last seara de jocuri (games night) and now it will be a start of a lot of firsts! and ill tell you all about my life in person next week! signing off for the last time sora lowther la revedere ne vedem va iubesc fetele mele monika! fetele familiei sandu!!! pozein mijlocul nicaieri planul salvarii until it started raining yeahhhhhhh brasov members

this week we had zone conference and we woke up at 4:00 to get ready and to head to the train station, woahoooo! our zone conf was really good, it was very inspiring. as stls we talked about baptism and the role of the spirit in our lives. we had a presentation, and we gave everyone a little coin (banut) and then that was representing the spirit. and then we started and i was the narrator as we all went back in time thinking about our own baptisms and then we talked about what we want to be here and baptize others to help them come unto Christ. and then the coin, like i said represented the spirit. and then sora collins just asked everyone ”does anyone happen to have a banut” and everyone was like ”yeah... i kind of forgot about that” and that's what we wanted. sometimes as members and as for us right now we have the spirit with us all the time, but sometimes we just don't feel it. were numb to the feeling and sometimes we complain and think that we don't have the lord guiding us, but in reality and just like the coin that we gave all the missionaries, we have the spirit all the time and its always guiding us. and we need to recognize this. we are always guided and loved by the spirit! we are Gods children and he wants to help us, especially as his servants! i love this mission, i love the great things that are happening! i love serving the lord and i love changing into a better person everyday. also satan is so rude and one of the girls that got baptized this past week broke her arm! i don't have a pic but so sad! but also its a blessing, that means that they might stay in romania for longer. they plan to go to germany but not today satan!!!!! ha! enjoy the rășnov fortress pictures! picswe saw a returned missionary this week and he gave us Swedish candy! tacosssss! the coolest hungarian member! she lives far away so we talk to her on the internet! i dropped the rest of our chips in the grass and picked them up! hehe my cute comps!
