once a upon a time sora smith got new shoes and then she got a super narly big blister from it. it started to get a little worse and worse so we called sora Hettinger and she told us to leave Ploiesti and head to Bucuresti as soon as possible to go get it checked out. (it honestly wasn't that bad but it looked like it was on the verge of being infected) so we drop all of our things that day, aka 2 lessons, which one of the people dropped on us! ha! then we got to the gara (train station) and we got on a train to Bucuresti, which is only 45 min on a train. we got on without a ticket. cause the crazy ticket lady said there were no stops but you can talk to the conductor and ask for a ticket before you get on. the train came and we didn't see any conductors on the platform so we got on the train.... and we stood the whole time. my heart was beating a little bit cause at that time we didn't have a lot of money with us if we had to pay a bigger fine cause we didn't have tickets but the train people came and they were glad to give us a ticket! #binecuvantat! we arrived in Bucuresti and we had to figure out how to get around the metro! sora smith and i have not served in Bucuresti so we literally were just going for it. we did have to back and forth on the metro like 2 times but we finally got there and we were in the clinic for like 1 hour and they said she was fine so we headed back to Ploiesti, literally mission life. its a different day everyday! other than that its been a normal week ish! we have been reading Cartea Lui Mormon with this member names Sara Iosif! seriously the cutest coolest gypsie girl EVER! shes learning how to read and so we have been helping her with that while reading the Book of Mormon with her every night! she had improved in her language so much already and its only been 5 nights so far! gift of tongues is so real! PICTURES! heading to Bucuresti! literally Romania in a picture! cute little gypsie girls that live by us! not wearing any pants ha! they insist on me taking pictures of them every time we see them HA when we want to go contacting and talk to people but people are not anywhere to be found! RIP literally everyone and their dog says "traba" which means things the best Romanian excuse of all history! ha
the convo is this us: were doing good, and you? sara: good sara: things living the dopest life right now! xoxoxoxoxo cu drag sora lowther

i am not in Brasov anymore! i got transferred after the transfer board came out, but its all good i just had to leave Brasov with in 24 hours and pack all my life in my suitcases and i didn't have time to say goodbye to anybody so that was kind of the biggest bummer! but...... i'm here in Ploiesti! with my new comp sora smith who it from Idaho! shes only a transfer behind me, shes been here for 3 transfers and yeah were just trying to survive. jk were doing good! all is well we just need more people to be on the streets so we can talk to them and have a good pool of oameni to meet up with! ploiesti is a small city with not a lot of touristy places like my other two cities ive served in, so were just getting creative how we can contact people:) this week i have felt the gift of tongues so much! i have been able to talk more by the spirit then by the things I've memorized or things that I've heard from other missionaries or the simple stuff but by the spirit and its just been so dope! I've got talking to a lot of cool people from following the spirit! missionary work is just the coolest this week in pictures: walking back from a members house that lives in la țara cu drag
Sora Lowther! this week was a good last week with my comp sora Selander, shes now a 'dead missionary' and me and my other comp sora Quigley and i (staying together in Brasov for the next transfer) feel like we had a leg chopped off or something cause were loosing Sora Selander to America, last transfer was the greatest transfer OF MY WHOLE MISSION LIFE! we worked so hard and we had so much fun and had so many inside jokes! JUDIT AND SZABI CAME TO CHURCH invited to whole world to church and only 4 investigators came. its good tho we can always have faith for miracles to happen and the 4 investigators where a tiny miracle! 2 Sundays ago i met this incredible lady names daisy she is from Bulgaria and she found Jesus! she was living in a Muslim community in Africa and she was converted unto Jesus Christ. we met up with her this week and she brought her family with her! her husband who is Romanian and her son, who is so smart and knows 3 languages and hes 6! we gave them a tour of the church and they loved it and they said that they felt something different here (!!!!!!!) they kept calling us angels ha! i'm so impressed with her faith in Jesus Christ! she is an amazing person, i hope that she can realize that this is The Church Of Jesus Christ! i have felt so many times during my personal study of different verses and thoughts that have come into my mind of things to help her come unto Christ. i cannot deny that that was the holy ghost and that is what i'm doing is something of a higher level. this last transfer i learned more about my authority as a mission of the church and i hope to carry what i learned what is means to have power for the rest of my mission. i know that i'm not like a superhero and that i don't have the power or the priesthood but i sure do have the authority and i'm so grateful for that. with this authority we can give people commitments to change and to fulfill our purpose as missionaries. which is to help others come unto Christ! wahoooooo missionary work! hiked for a branch activity on Saturday! we felt like it was a lil vacation! almost ultima cina with sora Selander and sora Ebert!
LOTS OF LOVE SORA LOWTHER this week was great! we had a bible bash with this dude who claims to be a missionary, he goes to other churches and he preaches to him. so we really loves the bible and he has a hard heart, so therefore we didn't have the spirit in our lesson! let me tell y'all that the spirit is the teacher! i was always told that and yeah i knew that the spirit was the real teacher but this lesson was a good reminder i guess to say; that the spirit is KEY to missionary work! without it we wouldn't be having success! d&c 42:14 also this random dude came into the church one day, hes meet with missionaries before but he said he wants to be baptized into our church! he was pretty serious about it too! he came to church and we set up a time to meet up with him and i hope hes got real intentions! cause were in need of priesthood here in brasov! this p-day was dope ill let the pictures tell the story! i love Brasov! gotta go!
